Release Aug 20, 2026: Dark Theme, Analytics, Partial Responses & AI

This major milestone brings four powerful new capabilities to CustomGForm: complete Dark Theme support, native Form Analytics, Partial Response capture, and Ask AI / Model Context Protocol (MCP) agent integrations.

1. Dark Theme Support

Google Forms only renders on a bright white canvas, creating an eye-straining contrast on dark websites. CustomGForm v1.3.0 lets you build a tailored second dark palette for any form:

  • Automatic OS Theme Detection: Forms automatically switch between light and dark modes matching the visitor's device preference.
  • In-Form Theme Switcher: Optional toggle lets respondents manually choose their preferred theme.
  • Independent Dual Palettes: Tune background, card, border, text, and button colors for each theme independently.

2. Built-in Form Analytics

Gain deep visibility into how respondents interact with your embedded Google Forms without installing bulky tracking scripts:

  • Key Metrics: Real-time views, start counts, completions, conversion rate, and average completion time.
  • Field & Step Drop-off Analysis: Pinpoint exact questions where respondents abandon multi-step forms.
  • Privacy-Friendly: Zero third-party trackers or invasive cookies.

3. Partial Response Capture

Don't let unfinished forms vanish into the ether:

  • Real-Time Draft Sync: Automatically captures responses as visitors type and proceed between steps.
  • Lead Recovery: View and export partial submissions to re-engage prospective leads who dropped off.
  • High-Performance Architecture: Rate-limited edge telemetry (60 req/min) with background LRU batching.

4. Ask AI & Model Context Protocol (MCP)

Control CustomGForm directly with natural language:

  • Dashboard Ask AI Assistant: Type plain English instructions to restyle themes, configure addons, and manage forms.
  • Official MCP Server: 11 specialized tools enabling Cursor, Claude, Codex, and Antigravity agents to automate form workflows.
